Deck overview

This deck is an Esper life-drain control and combo strategy led by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The game plan revolves around casting noncreature spells with mana value 3 or greater to trigger Y'shtola's ability, dealing 2 damage to each opponent while gaining 2 life, and drawing cards at end step whenever 4 or more life is lost. The deck controls the board during the early and midgame through efficient single-target removal, board wipes, and pillowfort enchantments like Propaganda and Authority of the Consuls.
