Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck centers on Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, transforming sacrifice synergies into card advantage and inescapable life drain. Early turns focus on deploying recurring token generators such as Bitterblossom and Ophiomancer. Once Sephiroth enters, attacking feeds cards into hand while chipping away at opposing life totals. The deck aims to orchestrate four creature deaths in a single turn around Turn 5 using edict creatures like Fleshbag Marauder or Accursed Marauder. Transforming Sephiroth grants a permanent emblem that ensures every death across the table drains life from opponents. Supported by Grave Pact to lock down opposing boards and high-impact closers like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Vein Ripper, and Bolas's Citadel, the deck grinds down the entire table across multiple turns. While it lacks stack interaction and artifact removal, its dense redundancy and permanent emblem make its late-game drain extremely resilient.
