Deck overview

This Kaalia of the Vast deck focuses on deploying fast mana to cast Kaalia on Turn 3 and immediately cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons onto the battlefield on Turn 4. The deck relies on high-impact combat payoffs such as Master of Cruelties for instant player elimination, Aurelia, the Warleader and Bloodthirster for additional combat phases, and Razaketh, the Foulblooded for overwhelming board control. A dedicated suite of free and low-cost protection spells, including Deflecting Swat, Flawless Maneuver, Boros Charm, and Lightning Greaves, safeguards Kaalia from targeted removal and sweepers. Alternate cheat avenues like Sneak Attack and reanimation spells ensure the deck functions even if Kaalia is contested. The primary win condition progresses from single-target combat elimination to table-wide lethal damage across two opponent response cycles, supported by an infinite combat combo between Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host.
