Deck overview

This is a Mardu aristocrats and edict-control deck helmed by Malik, Grim Manipulator. The core plan floods the board with sacrifice triggers-edict creatures, mass sacrifice spells, and recursive blink-to force opponents to feed Malik's Treasure engine while drain pieces and token-payoff creatures convert every death into life loss and mana. Flicker effects repeatedly rebuy ETB edicts and Malik himself, turning each wave of sacrifices into explosive Treasure production. Primary wins come from Revel in Riches (ten Treasures), large Torment of Hailfire casts fueled by that mana, combat via Vihaan, Goldwaker animating Treasures, and attrition drains from Blood Artist, Mayhem Devil, and Mirkwood Bats. Secondary closers include Hellkite Tyrant, Rise of the Dark Realms, and Tergrid, God of Fright stealing the board. The deck plays as midrange value that slowly locks the table out of creatures while racing toward an artifact- or drain-based finish.
