New Untitled Deck by user8176198

Format: Commander

Commander: Maelstrom Wanderer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maelstrom Wanderer is a single-faced commander, and the whole deck is built to cast it for {5}{G}{U}{R} and use its double cascade. Keruga, the Macrosage is the companion, not a hidden commander; that restriction is why every nonland card costs 3 or more. The primary plan is land-ramp to eight mana, then play Wanderer and chain hasty high-power creatures. Secondary paths include using Klauth and Old Gnawbone attack mana to deploy Pathbreaker Ibex or Zopandrel one turn early, and transforming Etali, Primal Conqueror into the poison side as an alternate kill. There is no compact combo finish; this is a big-mana value/combat deck that wins by overwhelming trample damage after one or two huge combat steps.
