Deck overview

This Rakdos deck helmed by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin is a methodical pinger/drain strategy that converts incremental life loss into card advantage and a growing commander. The primary game plan is to deploy symmetrical pinging effects-Manabarbs, Bitterblossom, Roiling Vortex, Forsaken Wastes-that cause each opponent to lose exactly 1 life repeatedly, triggering Ob Nixilis to exile the top card of the library and grow. The exiled cards are then played for value via Prosper, Tome-Bound, Party Thrasher, and Charred Foyer // Warped Space, generating treasures and further pings. The deck finishes through cumulative drain, All Will Be One converting +1/+1 counters into direct damage, or a Walking Ballista/Triskelion backed by Agatha's Soul Cauldron for repeated pings. A dense suite of board wipes and recursion ensures the deck can reset and outlast opponents.
