Horrors by Montazghul

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain N'ghathrod

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Captain N'ghathrod is the engine of a Horror tribal mill-and-theft strategy. The primary plan is to deploy cheap Horrors, attack with menace, and use the commander's end-step trigger to steal the best artifact or creature that was milled that turn. Zellix, Sanity Flayer and Uchuulon convert milling into token copies, while Consuming Aberration and Nemesis of Reason provide a second mill clock. The secondary path is instant-speed reanimation and theft-Extract from Darkness, From the Catacombs, Memory Plunder-to borrow opposing threats. No hidden commander appears; Runo Stromkirk is only a supporting reanimator piece. The deck is not a fast combo deck; Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring can generate mana, but the list lacks a compact payoff, so wins rely on incremental combat and mill.
