Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Camellia, the Seedmiser to turn Food generation into an aggressive swarm of evasive Squirrels and relentless aristocrat life drain. The game plan accelerates in the opening turns with ramp and Food producers before deploying Camellia on Turn 3. By Turn 4, the deck activates its Food-sacrifice engine, generating 1/1 green Squirrel tokens with menace and pumping the team via forage activations. Turn 5 marks critical onset, creating a must-answer board state powered by menace swarms, Pippin, Warden of Isengard overruns, and drain triggers from Valley Rotcaller, Nadier's Nightblade, or Cauldron of Essence. The deck also includes an un-tutored two-card infinite combo with Peregrin Took and Experimental Confectioner that draws the library and creates infinite tokens. While resilient to targeted removal thanks to redundant Food generation and Gyome, Master Chef, the deck remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and lacks stack interaction.
