Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal midrange strategy commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary game plan revolves around deploying mana rocks and tribal cost reducers during the early turns to cast Lathliss on Turn 5, followed by consecutive nontoken Dragon spells on subsequent turns. Each Dragon cast triggers Lathliss to create an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token, rapidly building a wide aerial armada. The deck supplements this beatdown plan with a potent goad subtheme featuring Disrupt Decorum, Geode Rager, and Vengeful Ancestor, which forces opposing creatures to attack each other, whittling down enemy life totals while clearing aerial and ground blockers. High-end bombs like Utvara Hellkite, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Warstorm Surge provide redundant win conditions. While vulnerable to board wipes and lacking enchantment removal, the deck delivers massive flying pressure once its engine takes flight.
