Deck overview

This is a Boros graveyard-value deck helmed by Quintorius, History Chaser, built around the simple equation that every card leaving the graveyard is a 3/2 Spirit token. The deck fills its yard through looting, milling, and discard outlets, then repeatedly recurs permanents from exile and the graveyard to trigger the commander and grow a wide board. Win conditions are centered on combat: a Spirit swarm pumped by Quintorius, Field Historian, Hofri Ghostforge, Balefire Liege, and Moonshaker Cavalry, eventually finished by Quintorius's -4 ability granting double strike and vigilance to every Spirit. The deck plays a grind-and-rebuild game with one-sided board wipes like Ceaseless Conflict, Wave of Reckoning, and Tragic Arrogance, creating inevitable token pressure rather than assembling a deterministic infinite combo. Core engines include Serra Paragon, Sun Titan, Excava, the Risen Past, and Karmic Guide - all of which double as Spirit-generating machines when the commander is in play.
