The Ghoul (duplicated from MrTimDoucette) by MrTimDoucette

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ghoul, Gunslinger

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ghoul, Gunslinger commands a mono-black Zombie aristocrats and reanimation strategy focused on sacrificing undead minions for continuous value, resource generation, and lethal drain. The Ghoul turns nontoken Zombie deaths into self-mill rad counters and ramp Treasures, accelerating your setup. The primary win condition loops Gravecrawler with sacrifice outlets like Warren Soultrader, Carrion Feeder, or Ashnod's Altar alongside drain engines like Plague Belcher, Bontu's Monument, and The Meathook Massacre to eliminate the table. Secondary paths include Mikaeus, the Unhallowed loops and overwhelming mass reanimation using Living Death, Zombie Apocalypse, or Gray Merchant of Asphodel bursts to close out the game.
