From the Woodwork by Gispachio

Format: Commander

Commander: Maja, Bretagard Protector

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

An aggressive landfall-token hybrid under Maja. The deck wants to cast Maja early, multiply the board with Rhys the Redeemed and Elspeth, Storm Slayer, and turn wide 1/1s into lethal beaters with anthem effects and Harmonious Archon. Extra-land effects (Azusa, Loot, Icetill) and land-ramp spells create multiple Maja triggers per turn. The secondary path is a grindier populate/recursion plan using Growing Ranks, Battle for Bretagard, and Emeria Shepherd. Rhys functions as a hidden commander: if he untaps with a board, the deck can double its tokens each turn. The plan is vulnerable to wipes and lacks counterspells, but can rebuild quickly from landfall engines.
