Deck overview

This mono-blue combo-control deck uses Orvar, the All-Form to turn cheap single-target cantrips and buyback spells into explosive permanent duplication. By targeting its own lands, creatures, and mana rocks, the deck ramps, draws cards, and builds advantage at instant speed. The primary victory route leverages Orvar alongside untap creatures like Peregrine Drake or mana engines like Coveted Jewel, pairing them with buyback spells such as Whim of Volrath or Clockspinning to generate infinite mana and draw the entire library. Once infinite resources are established, the deck finishes the game on the spot by milling all opponents with Brain Freeze, exiling their libraries with Reality Shift, or drawing into Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. Strong transmute tutors provide high consistency, while free counterspells and flexible protection spells defend the engine against opposing interaction.
