Glissa, Herald of Predation - Incubate v1.2 by bonk_and_cronk

Format: Commander

Commander: Glissa, Herald of Predation

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari midrange deck helmed by Glissa, Herald of Predation, built around Incubate tokens, +1/+1 counters, and proliferate. The primary game plan is to create Incubator tokens with Glissa's combat trigger, transform them into creature armies, and grow them via counter-doubling effects like Doubling Season, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, and Corpsejack Menace. A secondary poison subtheme leverages Fynn, the Fangbearer, Tyrranax Rex, and Bloated Contaminator, with proliferate spreading both poison and +1/+1 counters. The deck wins through combat damage-either by overwhelming board presence with trample and deathtouch or by reaching ten poison counters. It lacks fast combos and relies on incremental value, making it a slow but resilient threat engine once established.
