Deck overview

This deck is led by Szarel, Genesis Shepherd, focusing on a lands-matter aristocrats strategy in Jund colors. The game plan revolves around sacrificing lands for value, recurring them from the graveyard through the commander, and leveraging sacrifice triggers to distribute +1/+1 counters across large threats. Mid-game turns establish strong card advantage through engines like The Gitrog Monster and Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. The deck breaks parity on symmetrical land destruction spells like Wildfire and Destructive Force because Szarel and Conduit of Worlds immediately rebuild its mana base from the graveyard. Massive token generation from Titania, Protector of Argoth, Baloth Prime, and Omnath, Locus of Rage combines with damage multipliers like Raphael, the Muscle and extra combat phases from Moraug, Fury of Akoum to deliver lethal combat damage across all opponents.
