Commander: The Gitrog Monster

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Gitrog Monster is a high-tempo combo deck built around the Dakmor Salvage loop; there is no hidden commander. The primary plan is to put Gitrog into play with a repeatable discard outlet and Dakmor in the graveyard, then create unlimited draw triggers by dredging, using Kozilek and Ulamog to prevent decking. The secondary path is Ad Nauseam and Necropotence-fueled card advantage into Torment of Hailfire. The commander is both the engine and the linchpin; there is no functional fallback if it is neutralized. Fast mana, heavy tutor density, and a very low curve let the deck race, but the entire plan is vulnerable to commander hate and graveyard disruption.
