Deck overview

This is an Elf tribal deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking, who acts as a graveyard-value engine and a card-draw payoff for other legendary Elves. The primary game plan is to fill the graveyard through self-mill spells like Buried Alive and Aftermath Analyst, then use Thranduil to activate abilities from the graveyard - especially those of mana dorks such as Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid - to generate explosive amounts of mana. The deck goes wide with token producers like Imperious Perfect, Lathril, Blade of the Elves, and Izoni, Thousand-Eyed, then finishes via combat damage backed by lords or Lathril's mass-drain activated ability. Recursion spells like Bloodline Bidding and Return Upon the Tide provide resilience against board wipes.
