Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green token midrange strategy commanded by Peregrin Took. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging cheap mana acceleration to deploy Peregrin on Turn 3, followed by repeatable token generators. Peregrin's replacement effect turns every token creation event into extra Food tokens, which feed card draw to maintain hand size. In the mid-to-late game, the deck transitions from value generation to lethal board pressure using mass token generators like Avenger of Zendikar and wide overrun effects like Return of the Wildspeaker. While the deck exhibits consistent mana acceleration and solid card draw, it lacks hard tutors and stack-based interaction, making it dependent on combat damage and vulnerable to well-timed opposing sweepers.
