Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Temur Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan accelerates through dense 0-to-2 CMC ramp and Dragon cost-reducers to cast Ureni on Turn 4. Upon entering and attacking, Ureni digs eight cards deep to cheat massive Dragon threats directly into play without paying their mana costs. Key payoffs include Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Utvara Hellkite, and Atarka, World Render, which quickly build overwhelming aerial boards. The deck amplifies its combat pressure with extra combat enablers like Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Scourge of the Throne, and World at War, alongside damage multipliers such as Fiery Emancipation and Twinflame Tyrant. Free countermagic like Fierce Guardianship, Force of Negation, and Pact of Negation protects critical deployment windows. While the deck lacks proactive stax pieces and is vulnerable to well-timed board wipes, its immense card velocity and high threat density ensure rapid, decisive combat victories.
