Maha, Its Feathers Night by Royalxlegend

Format: Commander

Commander: Maha, Its Feathers Night

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black control deck uses Maha, Its Feathers Night to set opponents' creatures to base toughness 1, so any -1/-1 effect becomes a one-sided board wipe. You ramp to five mana, resolve Maha, then clear boards with Kaervek, the Spiteful, Night of Souls' Betrayal, or one-mana pings like Fungal Infection and Make Obsolete. Each death fuels drain engines such as Blood Artist, Syr Konrad, and The Meathook Massacre. Secondary wins are Gray Merchant of Asphodel for burst life loss, Rise of the Dark Realms to reanimate all graveyards, and Revel in Riches via Treasure from opponent deaths. Massacre Girl, Known Killer acts as hidden commander, giving wither and draw to sustain the grind.
