Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dimir Zombie tribal strategy centered on graveyard recursion and wide combat pressure. Commanded by Gisa and Geralf, the deck focuses on milling creature cards into the graveyard and casting one Zombie spell from the graveyard on each of your turns. The early turns establish mana rocks and cheap utility creatures like Mire Triton and Lazotep Reaver. During the midgame, anthem lords such as Lord of the Accursed, Cemetery Reaper, and Diregraf Captain buff the team while Fleshbag Marauder repeatedly trims opposing boards. The deck closes games around Turns 7 to 9 by resolving mass reanimation spells like Zombie Apocalypse, overwhelming token makers like Army of the Damned, or draining the table with Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While vulnerable to mass graveyard exile and sweepers, redundant recursion effects keep the engine resilient in casual multiplayer pods.
