Commander: Hearthhull, the Worldseed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jund land-sacrifice/landfall build. Hearthhull, the Worldseed is a single-faced commander used as the main land-sacrifice outlet and draw engine; the deck is built to reach its 2+ station mode, then later the 8+ creature mode. The primary plan is to sacrifice lands to Hearthhull and The Gitrog Monster, drain with Hearthhull and Mayhem Devil, and turn landfall triggers into tokens and Valakut Exploration damage. Major secondary paths are a Springheart/Springbloom landfall loop and the Gitrog+Dakmor dredge engine. There is no hidden commander; Korvold, Gitrog, Omnath, and Moraug act as support engines. The deck finishes through repeated mass land reclamation and either end-step damage or an enormous token attack.
