Deck overview

This is a mono-white control deck built around Avacyn, Angel of Hope. The primary game plan is to ramp into the eight-mana commander, then use her indestructibility-granting ability to make symmetric board wipes completely one-sided. The deck runs a dense suite of wipes - Wrath of God, Austere Command, Nevinyrral's Disk, Oblivion Stone, and others - to annihilate opponents' boards while keeping your own permanents untouched. It wins through combat with a handful of powerful angels: Avacyn herself, Serra's Emissary, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, and Sun Titan, often finishing with True Conviction or Akroma's Will for double strike. The deck includes a solid recursion package (Karmic Guide, Sun Titan, Sevinne's Reclamation) and a deep protection suite (Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, Clever Concealment) to grind through removal and rebuild after wipes. It is a resilient, slow-grinding midrange deck that aims to control the game and then beat down.
