Deck overview

This Orzhov Aristocrats deck leverages Teysa Karlov as a trigger multiplier to rapidly drain the table through creature sacrifice engines. The deck establishes early resource generation through low-cost token producers like Bitterblossom and Skrelv's Hive, pairing them with free sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Yahenni, Undying Partisan. Life-drain payoffs including Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance translate each death into life loss for opponents and life gain for you, which Teysa doubles into crushing life swings. Dense card flow from Plumb the Forbidden, Braids, Arisen Nightmare, and Black Market Connections keeps resources stocked. Strong proactive control pieces like Grave Pact and Braids, Cabal Minion strip opposing boards while Myrel, Shield of Argive and Flare of Fortitude protect your winning turns. The deck closes games around Turn 7 via compounded life drain, token swarm, or multi-piece loops with Pitiless Plunderer and Ashnod's Altar.
