Tom Sagas by Tricky

Format: Commander

Commander: Tom Bombadil

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Saga tribal deck helmed by Tom Bombadil, designed to play and chain Sagas for relentless value. The commander's ability to put a Saga from the library onto the battlefield whenever a final chapter resolves creates a powerful card-advantage engine. The deck is packed with Sagas that generate tokens, draw cards, ramp, and reanimate, aiming to overwhelm opponents with incremental advantage and eventually win through combat with a wide board or via Narci, Fable Singer's life drain. While the deck lacks a fast combo, it has strong synergy pieces like Satsuki, the Living Lore to accelerate lore counters and Goldberry, River-Daughter to manipulate counters. The strategy is to grind out the game, surviving with board wipes and removal, then use Tom's trigger to chain Sagas into a game-ending board state.
