Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Selesnya Legendary Stompy list piloted by Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful and Kodama of the East Tree. It establishes an aggressive presence on Turn 1 with Yoshimaru, steadily stacking counters whenever legendary permanents enter the battlefield. In the midgame, cost-reducers, ramp, and legendary tutors like Time of Need set up powerful force multipliers including Sovereign Okinec Ahau, Branching Evolution, and Kodama of the West Tree. Kodama of the East Tree breaks mana parity by cheating high-mana permanents into play, while card-flow engines like Reki, the History of Kamigawa and The Great Henge maintain a full hand. Asymmetric stax pieces like Yasharn, Implacable Earth and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines slow down opposing strategies, and dedicated protection cards such as Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, and Boromir, Warden of the Tower safeguard the board until combat damage closes out the game.
