Deck overview

This deck is a classic Simic Landfall engine commanded by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. It leverages cheap land acceleration and extra land drop enablers like Exploration, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove to quickly hit 6 mana by Turn 4. Once Aesi enters the battlefield, every land drop replaces itself, turning fetchlands and ramp spells into massive card advantage. The deck transitions this velocity into game-winning board states around Turn 5 using explosive token producers like Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Rampaging Baloths. With recursive engines such as Ramunap Excavator and Ancient Greenwarden, the deck shrugs off single-target removal, maintaining deep resource reserves. It ultimately secures victory on Turn 6 by overwhelming opponents with a lethal token wave or clearing all opposing defenses with an overloaded Cyclonic Rift.
