Deck overview

Queen Marchesa is a Mardu monarch-control deck that wins by turning the table's aggression into cards, life, and mana, then punishing a crowded board. The primary plan is to take the monarchy early, hold it with taxes and removal, and draw heavily from opponents' attacks and second spells. Secondary paths are the Repercussion + Blasphemous Act/Star of Extinction mass-damage wipe and an evasive token/commander damage clock from Court of Grace and Queen herself. Sunforger is effectively a hidden commander, giving repeatable instant-speed tutoring for the removal/protection suite. The Commander's haste, deathtouch, and monarch trigger make her a good early pivot, but the deck does not depend on her for its value engines.
