Deck overview

This mono-black deck is a focused stax and resource-attrition engine commanded by Braids, Arisen Nightmare. The primary game plan seeks to starve opponents of cards and mana while turning mutual sacrifice into an overwhelming asymmetric resource surplus. In the opening turns, the deck deploys disposable permanents such as Hopeless Nightmare, Bitterblossom, and two-mana discard creatures to feed Braids' end-step trigger, drawing multiple cards each turn cycle.
