Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie tribal aristocrats strategy commanded by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. It focuses on generating recurring token value from dying Zombies and leveraging that engine for continuous card draw, board control, and life drain. The deck curves low-drop utility Zombies into Wilhelt on Turn 4, initiating a repeatable sacrifice loop that generates decayed tokens. By Turn 6, it transitions into a lethal threat using attrition anchors like Grave Pact, Bastion of Remembrance, and Diregraf Captain to whittle away life totals while wiping opposing creature boards. Strong free and low-cost interaction spells such as Fierce Guardianship, An Offer You Can't Refuse, and Lazotep Plating protect key combo and engine pieces during critical development turns. Without fast mana or compact two-card infinites, the deck wins through superior battlefield recursion, drain inevitability, and overwhelming zombie swarm pressure.
