Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Battlecruiser Midrange list focused on Dragon tribal synergies helmed by The Ur-Dragon. The deck utilizes early ramp spells, mana rocks, and the commander's Eminence ability to bypass the prohibitive mana costs of massive Dragon creatures. By Turns 5 and 6, the deck establishes overwhelming aerial pressure using synergy engines like Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Utvara Hellkite, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest. Card advantage engines such as Garruk's Uprising, Kindred Discovery, and The Ur-Dragon's attack trigger replenish hand size, enabling continuous threat deployment. While the deck possesses immense combat power and resilience through threat redundancy, it is vulnerable to well-timed board wipes due to limited defensive protection spells and mana-intensive turns. Its interaction suite relies on asymmetric board wipes like Crux of Fate and opportunistic countermagic to close out games across multiple combat steps.
