Deck overview

This Boros deck is commanded by Nelly Borca, Impulsive Accuser and focuses on forced combat, political manipulation, and aikido-style attrition. The deck accelerates in the early turns to deploy Nelly, immediately goading opposing threats and drawing multiple cards each round as opponents are forced to attack one another. Layered pillowfort pieces like Ghostly Prison and War's Toll ensure the pilot remains protected while opponents exhaust their resources and life totals. Mid-game engines such as Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, Rite of the Raging Storm, and Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer accelerate the clock by turning opposing boards into lethal mutual weapons. Once the table is whittled down to a single damaged opponent, the deck finishes the game using decisive alpha strikes like Taunt from the Rampart or Insurrection, backed by premier defensive tools such as Teferi's Protection and Deflecting Swat.
