The Rumbling by user4010752

Format: Commander

Commander: Arcades, the Strategist

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This defender-tribal deck is built to maximize Arcades, the Strategist, who gives every wall flying, vigilance, toughness-based combat damage, and a card from each defender that enters. The primary plan is to land Arcades early, flood the board with high-toughness walls, and attack with an unblockable wall army. Secondary paths include creating a Bird token swarm with Wingmantle Chaplain and one-shot finishers through Towering Titan or The Walls of Ba Sing Se. Assault Formation serves as backup damage conversion. There is no double-faced or hidden commander; the deck's real engine is the wall swarm itself. The early game is defensive, using walls, Propaganda, and Ghostly Prison to reach a late-game toughness beatdown.
