Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Blink and Clone strategy commanded by Niko, Light of Hope. It leverages Niko's ability to turn Shard enchantment tokens into copies of nonlegendary creatures until the next end step. The game plan establishes early mana acceleration to cast Niko on Turn 3, followed by a potent nonlegendary payload such as Battle Angels of Tyr, Overlord of the Mistmoors, or Nesting Dovehawk on Turn 4. Activating Niko multiplies attack triggers, myriad tokens, and enter-the-battlefield abilities across multiple bodies. A dense suite of low-cost flicker spells like Ephemerate and Cloudshift shields key pieces from removal while generating extra Shards upon Niko re-entering. Value engines like Caretaker's Talent and Dour Port-Mage maintain full grip velocity. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming aerial token combat, protected by premier spells like Teferi's Protection and Flare of Fortitude.
