Thorin by user8745602

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is a Dwarf-tribal engine that converts every entering Dwarf into Treasure and then turns those tokens into a massive battlefield presence. The primary plan is to flood the board with Dwarves, multiply Treasure with Xorn, Academy Manufactor, and Goldspan Dragon, then win through either an oversized equipped Dwarf under Akroma's Will or Reyav, Master Smith, or a table-wide strike from Dain. The commander is the economy and an anthem; without him, the plan still works through other Dwarf synergies but slows. Secondary wins include Magda tutoring artifacts/dragons and Hellkite Tyrant's 20-artifact upkeep kill. There is no hidden commander; Magda serves as the lieutenant.
