Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov lifegain midrange strategy led by Elenda, Saint of Dusk. The primary plan leverages early mana acceleration and lifegain triggers to push your life total past 50, transforming Elenda into a massive 10/10 menace lifelinker. Supported by lifegain payoffs like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and go-wide token generation from Myrel, Shield of Argive, the deck converts high life totals into substantial combat damage and direct life drain. While Elenda provides built-in resilience against instant-speed removal, the deck relies on sequential combat steps and drain effects across several turns to eliminate three opponents. A deep suite of graveyard recursion spells ensures strong recovery following board wipes, though the absence of targeted tutors means the deck depends on natural draws and incremental card advantage. The result is a resilient, combat-focused deck that thrives in drawn-out games by dominating the life total economy.
