Averna - Cascade by Project_Spark

Format: Commander

Commander: Averna, the Chaos Bloom

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Temur cascade/discover deck, helmed by Averna, the Chaos Bloom, aims to chain high-mana-value spells to overwhelm opponents with sheer card advantage and board presence. The commander turns cascade triggers into free land drops, accelerating the deck's already top-heavy curve. The primary path to victory is overwhelming combat damage from enormous creatures like Apex Devastator and Maelstrom Wanderer, often amplified by extra combat phases from Moraug, Fury of Akoum or the incidental hasty bodies that the cascade chain produces. There are no infinite combos; the deck relies on value generation and incremental advantage, culminating in a tidal wave of spells and attackers that bury the table in card quality and tempo.
