Commander: Sigarda, Host of Herons

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Selesnya Voltron deck relies on Sigarda, Host of Herons to execute a resilient combat strategy. Sigarda provides built-in flying, hexproof, and complete immunity to sacrifice effects, protecting your investments against common removal spells and edict effects. The deck develops mana rapidly using cheap ramp before deploying card-drawing engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Eidolon of Blossoms. From there, you suit up Sigarda with massive stat-boosting Auras and Equipment such as Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Shield of the Oversoul, and Twinblade Blessing. Defensive lock pieces like Silent Arbiter and Torpor Orb stall opponents while you eliminate players sequentially through overwhelming, evasive commander damage.
