Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed competitive Grixis combo deck engineered to close games on Turns 2–3. Its primary route combines Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact to win instantly on an empty library. Alternatively, the deck can resolve a fast Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, or Necrodominance to draw dozens of cards, generating surplus mana through positive-mana rocks and rituals before pivoting into an Underworld Breach storm finish with Brain Freeze. A deep suite of zero-mana counterspells protects the winning turn while denying opposing fast wins. Disruption pieces such as Opposition Agent and Orcish Bowmasters punish opposing tutors and draw engines. Kefka serves as color identity and an emergency mid-game hand refiller, but the 99 functions independently at format-ceiling velocity.
