Zimone TAD by user9010819

Format: Commander

Commander: Zimone, Infinite Analyst

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic X-spell/+1/+1-counter deck built around Zimone, Infinite Analyst turning her own counters into a discount on a chain of X-cost spells. The primary game plan is to ramp early, load Zimone and the rest of the board with counters via Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, Doubling Season, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, and Kami of Whispered Hopes, then bury opponents under huge hydras like Hydroid Krasis, Primo, the Unbounded, and Goldvein Hydra. Combat is pushed through with Herald of Secret Streams and Tanazir Quandrix. A secondary infinite-mana line uses Freed from the Real on a counter-bearing mana dork to fuel Walking Ballista. Zimone, Paradox Sculptor effectively acts as a second commander in the 99.
