Deck overview

This Izzet artifacts deck is helmed by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man, a two-faced commander that transforms from a cheap dig engine into a flying, hasty artifact-cheating threat. The primary game plan is to ramp into the transform cost, then use Iron Man's combat trigger to put artifacts directly onto the battlefield-especially Equipment that boosts him into a lethal voltron threat. The deck also generates value through artifact synergies, cost reducers, and a handful of recursion pieces, aiming to win via commander damage or an overwhelming board of artifact creatures. Secondary paths include Overpowering Attack for extra combats and Chimil, the Inner Sun for uncounterable value. The deck is heavily artifact-centric, with over half its nonland cards being artifacts, making it vulnerable to mass artifact hate but resilient through redundancy and a command-zone engine that keeps the hand stocked.
