Ninjaz | Tempo/Burn by user2458879

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Yuriko tempo-drain deck built to connect early with unblockable one-drops, ninjutsu the commander in on turn two, and turn every combat trigger into a massive life-loss event by stacking high-mana-value cards like Draco and Shadow of Mortality on top. The secondary plan is to multiply Yuriko triggers with Ninja creatures, bounce effects, and Nanogene Conversion, which turns the whole board into nonlegendary Yuriko copies. Interaction is unusually dense, with free counterspells and cheap spot removal supporting the kill. The deck is fast but fragile: it depends on Yuriko, top-deck order, and a critical mass of attackers for the burst turn.
