Deck overview

This is a Grixis midrange drain-and-cascade deck helmed by Abaddon the Despoiler. The core plan is to bleed the table early with upkeep pingers, monarch effects, and symmetric drain enchantments so that Abaddon's Mark of Chaos Ascendant turns every subsequent spell cast from hand into a cascade engine. Once life loss is online, the deck cascades into high-impact threats, extra cascade payoffs, and finishers while converting the same life-loss total into mana via Neheb, the Eternal and cost reduction via Rakdos, Lord of Riots. Primary wins come from table-wide drain multiplied by Bloodletter of Aclazotz, cascade chains into Call Forth the Tempest or Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and large combat swings. The deck has no infinite combos and plays as a grindy value engine that snowballs once the life-loss threshold is crossed.
