Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula heads a fast Grixis combo deck built to win rapidly through compact, highly efficient win conditions. While Azula provides mana and doubles spells cast during combat, the deck rarely relies on its commander. Instead, it prioritizes assembling instant-speed or low-mana win lines. The primary win condition is casting Thassa's Oracle alongside Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact to exile the entire library. Alternatively, the deck leverages Underworld Breach loops with Lion's Eye Diamond and Brain Freeze to mill opponents or fuel a lethal storm finisher like Tendrils of Agony. Explosive fast mana, tutors, and dense card draw drive immediate game-ending sequences.
