Deck overview

This mono-black deck is an Aristocrats and Demon toolbox strategy led by Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker and powered by 30 copies of Shadowborn Apostle. The primary plan curves out 1-mana Apostles during the first three turns, sacrificing six on Turn 4 to cheat Razaketh, the Foulblooded directly onto the battlefield. Once active, Razaketh converts any creature into an unconditional tutor, quickly accessing Secret Salvage to refill the hand with dozens of Apostles. The deck then deploys aristocrat payoffs such as Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Syr Konrad, the Grim alongside Archfiend of Despair or Grave Pact. Shirei provides recurring end-step recursion, returning all sacrificed 1-power creatures to maintain an oppressive board wipe loop and drain all three opponents to zero life by Turn 6. While vulnerable to early sweepers and lacking stack protection, the deck boasts exceptional redundancy and tutor consistency.
