Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel is a relentless sacrifice-and-drain machine. The commander provides card draw and life drain on creature deaths, and its transformation into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel grants an emblem that further punishes creature deaths. The primary win condition is the Gravecrawler loop: infinite sacrifices with Phyrexian Altar or Ashnod's Altar plus a drain effect like Bastion of Remembrance or Marionette Apprentice. A secondary path uses massive mana from Cabal Coffers and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth to fuel Torment of Hailfire or Bolas's Citadel for a top-deck finish. Dense token generation from Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, and Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder fuels the sacrifice engine, while edict effects and board wipes control the table.
