Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Temur Dragon Tribal stompy deck commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early ramp and cost reducers during the first three turns, resolving Miirym on Turn 4, and unleashing massive flying threats on Turn 5. Because Miirym creates a non-legendary token copy of every nontoken Dragon entering the battlefield, cards like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, Utvara Hellkite, and Atarka, World Render double their ETB burn and combat output, creating insurmountable board states that eliminate the table on Turn 6. The deck supports this heavy mana curve with an elite suite of free interaction—including Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship, and Force of Negation—allowing it to defend its high-cost commander even while tapped out. While reliant on a six-mana commander, backup threats like Sneak Attack and Lathliss, Dragon Queen ensure formidable offensive capability across all stages of play.
