Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Superfriends midrange strategy commanded by Carth the Lion. Carth provides card advantage by digging seven cards deep for a planeswalker on entry and whenever a planeswalker dies, while altering loyalty costs by an additional [+1]. This modification allows planeswalkers to tick up faster, access powerful ultimate abilities ahead of schedule, and survive aggressive minuses. The deck accelerates using 1–2 CMC mana dorks and ramp artifacts into mid-game planeswalkers like Garruk Wildspeaker, Garruk, Cursed Huntsman, Wrenn and Seven, and Vivien, Monsters' Advocate. It controls the battlefield using removal options like Beast Within, Damnation, and In Garruk's Wake while producing a steady stream of Beast and Wolf tokens. The game finishes around Turn 8 through wide combat pushes amplified by planeswalker emblems, Overrun effects, or overwhelming token hordes.
