Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck centers on Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, utilizing +1/+1 counters and proliferate mechanics to build a commanding battlefield presence. The strategy accelerates in the early turns using efficient ramp like Incubation Druid and Three Visits before deploying early counter generators like Shelinda, Yevon Acolyte. Once Tidus enters the battlefield, moving counters and connecting in combat triggers consistent card draw and board-wide proliferation. Mid-game turns scale creature power exponentially through doubling effects like The Earth Crystal and Primal Vigor. The deck converts high creature stats into decisive victories using evasive enablers like Sphere Grid, Rikku, Resourceful Guardian, and Chocobo Knights. Defensive tools such as Inspiring Call, Protection Magic, and Resourceful Defense safeguard built-up counters and board investments against opposing removal.
