Commander: The Mimeoplasm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai self-mill/reanimator deck built around The Mimeoplasm as a scalable copy engine. The primary game plan is to fill graveyards aggressively, put Lord of Extinction and an enormous secondary creature such as Yargle and Multani into the bin, then cast The Mimeoplasm as a copy of Lord of Extinction with a pile of +1/+1 counters. Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord then sacrifices that giant Ooze to drain the entire table at once. The deck is backed by a deep recursion package, including Muldrotha, the Gravetide, Living Death, Breach the Multiverse, and Rise of the Dark Realms. Secondary paths include infect kills through Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, single-player mill with Altar of Dementia, and evasive beatdown with Wonder or Brawn in the graveyard. It is a linear, high-upside graveyard combo deck held back by a fragile mana base.
